My client is a Global Investment Bank, they are looking for multiple self-motivated and enthusiastic full-stack developer to join their top Research Technology team in Hong Kong.
 
You will be responsible for building brand new applications for the equity research business to retire legacy ones. You will be building these applications with ReactJS / Java / Spring Boot / Spring Cloud / PostgreSQL in a containerized environment. You will be able to contribute and gain exposure from all aspects of the equity research business right from market data collection, ETL, workflow engine, content management to publishing and distribution.
 
Responsibility:   

• Design, develop and maintain Java-based backend micro-services
• Design, develop and maintain ReactJS frontend applications
• Ensure application design conform with business goals
• Develop test cases to automate unit / integration testing
• Integrate data from various backend services and databases
• Identify and resolve any technical issues arising
• Stay plugged in to emerging technologies / industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
• Work as good team player in an Agile team

 
Requirements·      

• Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science or related fields
• At least 2 years of experience in developing Java Spring Boot applications
• Top-notch programming skill and in-depth knowledge of Core Java / Spring Boot / ReactJS
• Good understanding in relational database and proficiency in SQL query
• Experience in using JPA / Hibernate or other ORM frameworks
• Experience in using Docker and Kubernetes
• Ability to work independently and pro-actively
• Analytical mind and business acumen
• Problem solving aptitude
