Leading Chinese investment banking group is aggressively investing into HK as well as oversea markets. HK will play a center role for all the oversea business.

An experienced IT leader is pursued to join the HK business to lead the overall HK IT strategy. Frequent interaction with mainland HQ would be required, so Mandarin capability is a key to succeed on this role.

Job Responsibilities
  • Overseeing HK Branch's IT applications, infrastructure, operations, innovation & security.
  • Devising and establishing IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by top management.
  • Establishing long-term IT strategy and drafting annual IT plan to support the business development of the HK entity
  • Drafting and controlling the IT budget.
  • Ensuring the efficient implementation of IT systems & projects.
  • Ensuring smooth and safe operation of IT systems.
  • Providing sufficient IT support for business teams.
  • Developing and driving data assets business.
  • Coordinating with IT professionals and leveraging the IT resources from shareholders to implement the projects set by top management.
  • Ensuring IT system and data security with the requirements from shareholders, the laws & regulations of Hong Kong & Mainland China.
  • Managing and supervising employees in the IT Team.
     
Job Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of IT related working experience in reputable financial institution.
  • At least 3 years of management experience in an IT environment.
  • Sound working knowledge of IT operations, systems, and developments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
