Job Duty

Evaluate source data readiness, data lineage and landscape of data consumption
Gather business requirements and perform gap analysis to check the compatibility of the existing system infrastructure with the new business requirements
Facilitate requirement discussion among stakeholders and seek for optimal solution design
Translate business requirements into data processing demands and data logic for implementation
Lead ongoing review of data usage and identification of new data-driven use cases
Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful documents
Work with business on subsequent change management, access controls and usage monitoring
Identify market demands and recommend business opportunities, and support low-level design
Conduct ETL workflow development for data management purposes and provide application management and support
Work with IT counterparts for system integration, conduct business requirement analysis, system analysis and design
Liaise with business users to collect details user requirements

Requirement:

University graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or related disciplines
2 to 4 years of experience in data analytics related development work
Knowledge of Hadoop, relational database and NoSQL database.(e.g. Cloudera, MapR, Teradata, Oracle, Hbase, Redis, MongoDB)
Knowledge in Data Lake, Data Warehouse and Data mart is a plus
Knowledge in one of ETL tools (e.g. Informatica, Datastage, Pentaho). Informatica is a plus
Proficient in Java8, Windows, Linux/Unix shell script, Oracle
Programming Languages: SQL, PL/SQL, Javascript, Shell Script, CSS
Version control and CI / CD tools (e.g. git, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible). GitLab and Jenkins are plus
Scheduling tools (e.g. Control-M, Dollar-U). Control-M is a plus
Experience in delivering data-driven applications, system migration or data platform implementation
In-depth knowledge in BI reporting/ data management/ data analytics/ data governance
Proficient in consolidating data lineage and data definition
Good at meeting facilitation with excellent interpersonal skills
Highly prefer experience of being an agile practitioner either as a product owner or as a scrum team member, with strong capability in structuring of requirements in the form of epics/ user stories
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
