Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Hotel System (Property Management System) Project Manager on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Hong Kong. The role is focused on integration, needs strong knowledge of hotel-related systems, ideally Property Management Systems (PMS), as well as experience with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, Internet Booking Engines (IBE), and Loyalty Program Systems (CRM). This is a team management role.

Role Overview

  • Collaborate with management and end users to pinpoint opportunities for business process enhancements that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate the latest hospitality systems, presenting recommendations to management.
  • Develop, establish, and periodically review IT standards, procedures, and configuration documents for hotel operations.
  • Interview and manage IT vendors as needed.
  • Identify and recommend best practices, emerging trends, and solutions to streamline hotel industry processes.

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology within a hotel chain, demonstrating a successful track record in managing complex IT projects and teams.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel-related systems, including Property Management Systems (PMS), Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, Internet Booking Engines (IBE), and Loyalty Program Systems (CRM).
  • In-depth understanding of integration among various hospitality systems.
  • Proven experience in project management and systems implementations is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement changes or improvements in hotel business and operational processes through new technology is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, with strong time management abilities.
