Java System Analyst with ref. BH-5759

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into functional specifications and technical designs.
Perform analysis, design, and development of Java-based applications and systems in a banking environment.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and integrity of the software applications.
Provide technical guidance and support to the development team throughout the software development lifecycle.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance system efficiency and performance.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to make recommendations for system enhancements and upgrades.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and security protocols in the design and implementation of software solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Java Developer or System Analyst within the banking or financial services industry.
Strong proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
Solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
Experience in analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL query optimization.
Familiarity with web-based technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and RESTful APIs.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
