Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of system analysts and development professionals to successfully deliver projects in line with bank standards.
  • Manage vendors for system development, ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for prospective projects, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Oversee the implementation and consultation of large-scale system projects, ensuring adherence to scope, cost, resource, schedule, quality, and risk constraints.
  • Facilitate communication and issue resolution between business units and system vendors during system development and quality assurance processes.
  • Supervise major project activities and rollout plans, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Evaluate software and hardware products to determine suitability for organizational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines, and standards, conducting all duties with a high level of integrity.
  • Adhere to established risk control guidelines, procedures, and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate, and monitor risks associated with daily work.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in system implementation or IT project management, preferably within the banking or finance industry.
  • Hands-on experience in managing and maintaining large-scale critical systems.
  • Sound knowledge of Agile Project Management Model and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Proficiency in Java, Oracle, AIX/Unix/Linux.
  • Strong project management, analytical, presentation, and report writing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Experience and knowledge in stock trading is a must.
