Product Owner - Aviation Solutions

Inspire is working with a Top 3 provider of aviation platforms and solutions to find a Product Owner.
The Product Owner - Aviation Solutions will play a crucial role in driving the development and improvement of our aviation software products and services. Working closely with the client as well as cross-functional teams, including development, design, and research, the Product Owner will be responsible for defining the product vision, prioritizing features, and managing the product roadmap. This role requires a deep understanding of the aviation industry, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and exceptional communication abilities.   

Role Overview:

• Develop and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap for our aviation software solutions, aligning with the company's strategic goals, customer needs, and market trends.
• Gather and prioritize product requirements by collaborating with stakeholders, including customers, internal teams, and subject matter experts, to ensure the delivered solutions meet the highest standards of quality and value.
• Create and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlogs to guide the development team in building innovative and customer-centric software solutions.
• Collaborate with the development team in Agile/Scrum methodologies, participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer pain points, and opportunities for product enhancement or new product development.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the development team throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring effective communication, efficient resource allocation, and adherence to project timelines.
• Conduct regular product demonstrations and gather feedback from internal stakeholders and customers to validate product functionality and usability.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and effective customer communication for new feature releases and enhancements.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry regulations, and market trends in the aviation domain to anticipate future customer needs and contribute to the product roadmap.   

Ideal Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst in the aviation industry or a related domain.
• Understanding of aviation software solutions, including airline operations
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools, such as JIRA or Trello.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and translate them into actionable requirements.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of delivering successful software products or solutions and driving the product development process.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Professional certification in Agile/Scrum is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) is necessary for this role.
