Job description

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the DevOps team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our software development and delivery processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.
Define and enforce DevOps best practices, including version control, continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated testing.
Establish and maintain a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the DevOps team and across the IT department.
Identify and implement tools and technologies to automate manual processes, increase efficiency, and enhance productivity.
Monitor and analyze system performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement appropriate solutions.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in DevOps, and evaluate their potential benefits and applicability to the organization.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize software development and delivery requirements, and ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the status of DevOps initiatives, including progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in leading and managing a DevOps team in a fast-paced, enterprise-level environment.
Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, practices, and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, configuration management, and infrastructure-as-code.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and familiarity with cloud-native architectures.
Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Bash, and experience with infrastructure automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Solid understanding of software development methodologies, Agile practices, and Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
