- Take a leadership role in cybersecurity projects, overseeing the monitoring and investigation of security alerts and events, while effectively mitigating security risks and responding to incidents.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and implement environment improvements, providing management reports on the findings.
- Conduct periodic reviews of security solutions and policies to identify potential gaps within the organization.
- Collaborate with vendors and other IT teams to address compliance/audit findings and deploy IT security solutions in alignment with industry best practices and international standards.
- Possess a degree in computer science, engineering, information security, or an equivalent field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in information security, with a preference for 3-5 years of experience in system administration or technical support.
- Strong knowledge in at least 3 of the following security technologies: Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), cloud computing security, layer 3/layer 4/layer 7 firewall, Web Application Firewall (WAF), web proxy, SSLVPN, email gateway, endpoint protection, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
- A team player who is willing to share experiences and knowledge with colleagues.
- Capable of working independently and demonstrating self-motivation.
- Possession of professional IT-related qualifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CREST, OSCP, CSM, CCSP, CEH, ISO27001, MCSE, CCNP, etc.) is considered an added advantage.
