Job Duties

• Understand data sources and business use cases
• Design efficient and reliable data pipelines for both operational and analytical use cases.
• Implement suitable data model for data warehouse in order to achieve efficient data retrieval
• Deliver appropriate testing and documentation for the deployment of data pipelines and data models
• Provide ongoing data platform supports
• Build and optimize data sets, 'big data' data pipelines and architectures
• Participate to set up required infrastructure for optimal data ETL process from various sources
• Build analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics

 
Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Data Science, or related subjects 
• 3 years of solid experience in data engineering, software engineering & analysis, SQL and python.  Those with more than 5 years of experience will be considered for the post of senior data scientist
• Experience in machine learning projects is an advantage
• Experience in PySpark / Databricks is an advantage
• Experience in data pipeline building or cloud platform is an advantage
• Good communication and analytical skills; proficient in written and spoken Chinese and/or English
• Detail-minded, with positive attitude and enjoy working for various new initiatives
