My client a major bank is seeking a highly qualified individual to join as a Senior Manager - Middleware. In this role, your major duties will involve budget planning and providing support for daily operations. This is a key position that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to streamline operation procedures in accordance with ITD policies, standards, and guidelines.
Responsibilities:

• Budget Planning: You will play a pivotal role in assisting with budget planning and monitoring. Your expertise in financial management will be essential in ensuring the efficient allocation of resources.
• Daily Operations Support: You will be responsible for overseeing and providing domain services such as middleware, microservice, monitoring, and remote access to both IT and business users. By ensuring system performance and identifying areas for improvement, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Education and Experience: A university degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Additionally, you should have over 8 years of experience in the IT sector, with at least 3 years in a team lead/management role, preferably within the banking industry.
• IT Infrastructure Knowledge: You should possess in-depth knowledge and practical experience with IT infrastructure services. Familiarity with IBM ICP, IBM WAS, JBoss Web Server, Oracle WebLogic, system monitoring tools (e.g., IBM Tivoli), and remote access is required. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS is considered an advantage.
• Communication and Risk Awareness: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to effectively interact with stakeholders. 
• Language Skills: Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese is required.
