Job description

Our client is a reputable bank in HK, and they are hiring a Network Specialist role on their Network and Security Team in Asia now.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform 7 x 24 installation, administration and support on IT network (data & voice) and security systems of the bank according to defined policies, processes and procedures
  • Conduct performance & availability monitoring, capacity management, configuration & services level management, problem diagnosis & resolution, security management & patch application, change management, of the supported IT areas
  • Develop, establish and review standards, procedures and configuration documents on firewall management
  • Perform infrastructure products or related tools evaluation, and provide recommendations to management
  • Design and review the implemented infrastructure in the supported domains
  • Plan, implement and test the infrastructure projects
  • Conduct regular health check and monitor of all installed systems from infrastructure perspectives and report timely on any problems and performance issues
  • Carry out assigned tasks and projects with good quality and ensure it is completed on schedule, within budget and meeting pre-defined scopes
  • Prepare regular/ad-hoc reports to management on problems, incidents and assigned tasks and projects on a timely basis
  • Manage helpdesk service team to provide end user technical support may be required
Requirements:

  • University graduate in Computer Science or Information Technology related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in infrastructure administration and support, preferably in financial institution
  • Familiar with the following platforms / systems : LAN & WAN, Telephony Systems, Network Monitoring Tools and Security Products (e.g. Cisco routers, Cisco/H3C switches, Avaya PABX, WFO, Checkpoint/Juniper/Cisco Firewalls/F5 Load Balancer)
  • Experience in vendor management on desk-side support is preferable. Excellent customer service oriented mindset.
  • CCNA / CCNP Qualification is preferable.
  • Excellent customer service oriented mindset.
  • Self-initiated, ability to work independently and under pressure with integrity.
  • Good analytical & communication skills, and able to motivate the team.
  • Good writing skills in English and Chinese.
