Job description

Our client is a traditional bank in HK. The current position is a technical role which the personnel will be covering both BAU support and project designs across IT networking.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the implementation, support of the Bank's network services and network infrastructure
  • Operate networking devices including Firewall, Switches, Router, VLAN/LAN, WAN links, SSLVPN, web proxies, wireless controllers & access points, AAA server and remote access for the network services
  • Evaluates technology options and new products
  • Participates in global & regional IT projects in network perspective
  • Handle deployment or maintenance on network related hardware and software


Requirements:

  • University graduate in Computer Science or Information Technology related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in infrastructure administration and support, preferably in financial institution
  • Familiar with the following platforms / systems : LAN & WAN, Telephony Systems, Network Monitoring Tools and Security Products (e.g. Cisco routers, Cisco/H3C switches, Avaya PABX, WFO, Checkpoint/Juniper/Cisco Firewalls/F5 Load Balancer)
  • Experience in vendor management on desk-side support is preferable. Excellent customer service oriented mindset.
  • CCNA / CCNP Qualification is preferable.
  • Excellent customer service oriented mindset.
  • Self-initiated, ability to work independently and under pressure with integrity.
  • Good analytical & communication skills, and able to motivate the team.
  • Good writing skills in English and Chinese.
